Just over a year and a half ago, MASCO launched www.LongwoodArea.Org, a new website to showcase all the exciting and interesting elements of our neighborhood and the two (Fenway and Mission Hill) that surround us.

LongwoodArea.org is essentially a database of all there is to see and do in the LMA, Fenway and Mission Hill. It is designed to be neighborhood specific, so you can search the four categories of Eat, Play, Visit and Learn based on the neighborhood you wish to visit.  So far, we’ve clocked over 10,000 visitors, with more than a third of those visitors returning to the site.

These bustling neighborhoods with unprecedented growth continue to add venues and hotspots for interests of all kinds. In fact, Fenway Sports Group just announced that it will be adding a 5,000-person performing arts center next to Fenway Park. The new venue will be created in partnership with Live Nation and called the Fenway Theater. As reported by the Boston Globe, the music venue would be located on a triangle of land behind the Boston Red Sox’s home (between Lansdowne and Ipswich streets) and could potentially become Boston’s largest indoor theater.

As continued growth will change the face of these three neighborhoods, we will update this dynamic site to provide the most thorough database of services available.
