Longwood Collective Area Planning staff work with city and state agencies to maintain and improve the LMA streets and sidewalks to a state of good repair. Area Planning regularly inspects the condition of sidewalks, street markings and roadways in the LMA. Area Planning also reports one-time events such as street light outages and traffic light issues to the appropriate agencies. After snowstorms, Area Planning surveys area streets for impacts to travel lanes and reports snow removal needs to city, state, and private entities.
