Temple Israel just became the first synagogue in New England to receive the GreenFaith Energy Shield Certification. The Energy Shield is a 1-month program designed for synagogues to take action to reduce their carbon footprint and help their congregants do the same at home. The GreenFaith EnergyShield reflects the values of stewardship that reach back to Genesis and remind us of the importance of partnering with God in the ongoing work of Creation.

Congratulations to our neighbors at Boston Children's Hospital for completing phase I of a major project over the weekend.
The first of three sections for BCH's new pedestrian bridge were installed over the weekend, and all went according to plan! It’s much easier to envision what the future will bring with the bridge, especially how it will improve the patient and family experience with safer, more direct access to and from the hospital.

Brigham and Women's Hospital announced late last month that it has received Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), marking a historic moment for the institution as it joined the 8 percent of U.S. hospitals honored with this elite recognition.

The New England Patriots can soon call the world renown Dana-Farber Cancer Institute "neighbor."
On Thursday Dana-Farber Cancer Institute announced plans to to develop an outpatient hospital satellite at Patriot Place in Foxborough.
The institute said in a press release that the move to the suburbs of Boston will further the Institute's commitment to deliver local care to cancer patients.
