Who doesn't love a gorgeous summer day, live music, food trucks galore and FREE sunscreen?
The first "Bands on Blackfan" of 2019 was a HUGE success! The new location in front of Merck and Emmanuel saw the largest crowd ever to enjoy the Thinkin Big Band and Moyzilla, Bon Me, Zinneken's, MoRockin' Fusion and Sate Grill food trucks.

Renowned Chess Champion Marc Esserman OUTSIDE here in the LMA today from 3-5 pm at the Countway Courtyard. Marc will run a chess "simul," where he will play multiple players at once as well as instruct anyone interested in learning the basics of the game.

A contributor to WGBH’s Stories from the Stage, Stories to Scenes, Massmouth, and The Moth, Cox is the associate dean for public health practice at Boston University and a member of Boston’s Board of Health.
